Beware of ‘spotters’ in bank fraud

Bank cash robberies have increased by 4% from 2015 to 2016 with 695 incidences involving R21m reported so far this year. The South African Banking Risk Information Centre (Sabric) says bank client cash losses from January to June this year amounted to R21m. The Eastern Cape saw the largest increase (48%) from 2015 to 2016.
