BULAWAYO, (CAJ News) – HIGHLANDERS Football Club has appointed their legend Madinda “Khathazile” Ndlovu as head coach.

Club Chief Executive Officer, Nhlanhla Dube, confirmed the appointment on Thursday together with those of his two assistants Mandla Mpofu and Melusi Sibanda.

The trio signed a three-year contract.

“The length of the contracts for the senior team coaches is three years. The goalkeepers’ coach will be confirmed in due course,” Dube said.

Prior to rejoining Bosso as Highlanders is affectionately called in local football circles, Ndlovu was coaching Botswana side Orapa United.

The speedy former Warriors forward replaces Dutchman Erol Akbay, who parted ways with Highlanders at the end of the season. Madinda is brother to former Warriors captain Peter Ndlovu, now manager for South African premiership giants, Mamelodi Sundowns
