These Local Kids Will Put You To Shame – They Have Already Released An Album
Story from: 2oceansvibe.com
I first saw Skyscrapers perform earlier this year at Open Streets on Bree.
They pulled a massive crowd, and held the audience captive throughout their whole performance.
When their set ended they introduced themselves as “Skyscrapers” and, at first, I giggled because of how small they were. That feeling quickly turned into admiration, because they are clearly facing a bright future.
Good news for those who haven’t had the chance to see them – they are performing this Sunday at yet another edition of Concerts in the Park sponsored by RSAWEB, and Skyscrapers will be opening for two established bands, namely The Rudimentals and Freshly Ground.
Although it’s a tragic signal of the end of summer, as it’s the last free concert of the season, that only serves as all the more reason for you to get down to De Waal Park and get your groove on.
The Skyscrapers was formed by Dan, Mila and Leo in 2015 when they were at school together and here’s that album they recorded:
Not too bad at all, huh?
Be sure to stop by the RSAWEB tent at the concert and enter their competition on the day. You could stand a chance to win amazing prizes.
