New York Times Uses Footage From Vegas Shooting To Put You In The Middle Of The Terror [Video]

Story from: 2oceansvibe.com

We may never know what drove Stephen Paddock to murder innocent concert-goers in Las Vegas on the night of October 1, but his barrage of bullets left 58 people dead and a further 546 injured.

Let that sink in for a moment – one man single-handedly (with the help of a massive arsenal of weapons) injured in excess of 600 people.

There will be plenty of theories put forward in the months and years to follow, but one thing we can get a good handle on is the timeline of how the shooting unfolded.

The New York Times have used firsthand footage from the shooting, meticulously mapped out and pieced together,

Here’s the video’s short write-up:

10 Minutes. 12 Gunfire Bursts. 30 Videos.

The shots began at 10:05pm. Twelve bursts of gunfire later, the police broke down Stephen Paddock’s door at the Mandalay Bay. The Times mapped 30 videos to draw perhaps the most complete picture to date of what happened.

Parts of this are tough to watch, but if you can stomach the footage it offers incredible insight into the horrors of that evening:
